You know, I can't put things any better than Kit, however, let me just do a quick comment for the record:
We all noticed that this guy doesn't really have a problem with Kit's (allright, maybe a small problem) views. He has a problem with Kit himself. Why? We may never know, but Banned IP is trying to prove Kit wrong, not his views. You can constantly see him refering to Kit (and his friends), trying to put them down, and using several arguments that should be disconsidered when discussing the issue itself.

You know, I don't believe that we need more discussions and rivarly like this in the world. If both Kit and Banned IP were both leaders, I bet a war would have been started already. Why would someone bother to insult someone? Probably because Banned IP doesn't like Kit, and insulting him "publicly" makes him feel better, making him win an unexistent battle. Just the kind of thing most (if not all) hate to see. You know, if you are trying to prove someone wrong, do it right. Don't get personal.

Next time, don't annoy us (or at least me) with several unfounded commentaries and arguments. Prove Kit wrong with real facts, not just opinions, and you may just get some respect back. Right now, you lost it all.

So umm.. I'm kinda worried about you... I didn't see you in our class CS214 on October 20.. which by the way, is the due date for project no. 1... Did you passed your project no. 1? Hey this is Ben, and this also doesn't have anything to do with your blog, and I know I'm being rude and prying into information that doesn't concern me, but I'm kinda interested to know who you(speaking to the previous commenter, Hans Sy) is. Obviously someone from your(Kit's) college course judging by the midterm assignment, but as so much of your college course is shrouded in mystery, it would be kind of interesting to get an idea of who you (Hans again) are and how you know Kit. Sorry for being blunt and rude.

I will reply to this only after several apologies are made.

First: To Kit, if it seemed like I let it get too personal, sorry. I may not like you, but I think I kept that in check after the beginning. If you saw otherwise, my most sincere apologies.

Second: From Felipe to me. He has no right to complain about my "lack of argument." He has said nothing constructive. He simply piled on the wirter of this letter, then in response to me he complained about my opinion: "You know, I don't believe that we need more discussions and rivarly like this in the world. You complain about my opinion, by giving an opinion? Yeah. Think before you post please. I try to at least. You have done NOTHING. You just sit there going yes to whatever Kit says.

I bet you would be wrong. You have no idea who I am, yet you randomly state that I would start a war over this. To be honest, this is bullshit. Start making logical arguments, don't rely on Kit to do the work for you, dipshit. You do pose a good question though. Why would you bother to insult the kid who wrote the letter? Why did Kit spend so much time writing those comments? Please answer.

What exactly was Kit doing in the first place? Why is it that all of a sudden what annoys you is wrong, and what you think is funny is right? Kit's whole thing was a "commentary," it didn't bother you. And Kit was COMPLETLY UNFOUNDED.

Because you speak for everyone. You have done nothing to express your views. All you do is reaffirm Kit's. You don't even have the right to enter this discussion. Besides, I can live without your respect.

Third: From me to "Eric." I was blunt and unclear. You misinterpreted what I was trying to say. Sometimes this happens when you rewrite something. You expect it already to have been said.

Fourth: From Eric to me. I have posted, to the best of my ability, a clear argument. I made mistakes, but that does not qualify me as a "retard." Your statement reeks of ego. "He insulted me, what a fag-ass retard." I am entitled to my opinion if I make it clear, which I may have not done in your case, but you have made no attempt whatsoever. I barely understood your post. You simply simplified what I said beyond recognition and "proved it wrong"

Fifth: From me to my readers. I have bad spelling and grammar sometimes, so please forgive any mistakes.

Apparently he didn't. It was an accident to send it out remember? That last note was just to save face. Recover a little dignity. It also explains the spelling errors, something you failed to acknowledge. It also apologized, something you have yet to do.

Also, I would like to express my frustration at your double standard Kit. You ignore whatever anyone who supports you says, no matter how wrong by your standards they are. You only attack those against you, and you do it through insults rather than arguments sometimes. Please, if you hate people who can't spell, tak to Alex and Ben. If you hate idiots talk about Felipe and me if you want. Dont ignore them.

If I simplified or misinterpreted your views here, I apologize. But when an insult is personally directed at me, I expect an explanation. And when none exists, I ask for one. So now let me ask: what is it you were getting at? If you think you didn't express yourself clearly there, then TRY. No one has to give up and call it quits after they have said one thing.

He wrote a letter, and in it he said that he wished to read "better" books. These books included Ender's Game. I am of the same opinion as you, calling that book "good" is a stretch. Despite this, I saw your immediate response as an attack, not a message. You attacked what he said was a good book, rather than stating your opinion of what makes a good book. You provided no standards by which to compare the two viewpoints, and in general made your post seem like a pure attack on him. Make no mistake, I sometimes do the same thing, and it was wrong for me to come across so harsh, but it seemed unfair to judge his post by his opinions in that situation. You had provided little more than a sentence saying he was wrong, you didn't really give an opinion. Like almost everyone, you attacked him, and his views, completly out of proportion with his "crime." I got a bit defensive, I don't know why, but that does not make you right.

OK, thank you. That's all I wanted to know. And I don't insist that I'm right. It's my opinion, just like yours and everyone else's. Don't assume that I'm trying to force my views down the throats of others. I'm just stating what I think, and there should be nothing wrong with that.
